Roland DGA - Entering Service Mode

Follow the steps below to enter service mode on your device. This process should be done carefully and in the exact sequence outlined.

 Step 1: Set Power State

  • Ensure the Main Power switch is turned on.
  • Ensure the Sub-Power (front panel) switch is turned off.

Step 2: Press Arrow Key Sequence

Press the following arrow keys in this order:

  1. Down
  2. Right
  3. Left
  4. Up
  5. Right
  6. Down
  7. Left

 Step 3: Activate Service Mode

  • Within 5 seconds of completing the sequence above, press and hold the Left, Right, and Down arrow keys.
  • While holding these keys, turn on the Sub-Power switch.

Step 4: Confirm Mode

  • If successful, the front panel will display: "Service Mode".
  • If the panel displays "Service Mode is Protected", turn off the Sub-Power and repeat the steps carefully.
