Epilog Dashboard – Artwork Appears Off the Bed When Printed

When printing from CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator to the Epilog Dashboard, your artwork may appear outside the engraving area and need to be dragged onto the bed. This happens when the document or artboard size doesn’t match the printer/page settings.

Follow the steps below for your design software so artwork automatically appears in the correct position.

CorelDRAW – Configure Print Settings for Epilog

1. One-time CorelDRAW driver setup

  1. Go to Tools > Options > Global > Printing > Driver Compatibility.
  2. Select Epilog Engraver from the printer drop-down list.
  3. Enable Printer can match document page sizes.

2. Print setup for your job

  1. Choose File > Print.
  2. Set Printer to Epilog Engraver.
  3. On the General tab, set the Page size and orientation to match your document.

  4. On the Color tab set:
    Output colors as: RGB

  5. On the PostScript tab:
    Ensure Convert True Type to Type 1 is unchecked.

  6. (Optional) Save as a print style preset:

  7. Click Apply then Print.

Adobe Illustrator – Configure Print Settings for Epilog

1. Match artboard size to your material

  1. Set the Artboard to the exact size of your engraving material.

2. Illustrator print settings

  1. Go to File > Print.
  2. Select Epilog Engraver from the Printer list.
  3. Set Media Size > Custom.
  4. Enter the exact Width and Height of your artboard.
  5. Uncheck Auto-Rotate.
  6. Click Print to send the job to the Epilog Dashboard.

Result

After applying these settings, artwork should appear correctly on the Epilog Dashboard bed—no dragging or repositioning required.
