Roland DGA - Perforated Cut Using VersaWorks6

1. Go to the cutting tab in VersaWorks 6. Here, we can select to use either a contour cut or a perforated cut for image boundaries.


2. Check the box that says, “Cut Image Boundaries.” If just a regular contour cut is needed, then nothing further needs to be done.


3. To generate a perf cut, check the “Perform Perforated Cut for Image Boundaries” box and set values for Perforation Length, Perforation Force, Half-cut length and Half-cut Force. 

Settings Recommendations for Standard Vinyl:
  1. Perforation Length: .75-1.5 inches 
  2. Perforation Force: 160-180gf or +100gf Greater then Contour Cut Force
