Epilog - Adobe Illustrator Images and Vector Cut Lines Ignored

Issue:

Adobe Illustrator: Certain Images wipe out vector hairlines when printed to the epilog driver. The vector lines are treated as engravings when they make it into the epilog print driver. Something in the image source file seems to cause the issue.

Solution:

The workaround we've found is to open the image file in Illustrator by itself. Then, export that image as a jpg or other file format. This may create a loss of quality in the file, but rest assured, any ghost data will be removed, and the vector hairlines will work once the resaved jpg is placed (imported) into a new AI file.

Warning: the resaved image quality is usually very low and can be seen as such when engraved.

Another solution would be to get the source AI file for the graphics instead of the saved logo file format.
